Donation and Refund Policy

How donations are used, receipted, and refunded.

Last updated: [placeholder date]

Thank you for supporting Kindred Pathways. This policy explains how your donation is used, how receipts and tax-deductibility work, and how to change or get a refund on a gift.

How your donation is used

Donations support our charitable programs. We deliver support in kind, or through vetted local partner organisations, and never as direct cash to individuals. We are committed to using every gift carefully and to reporting on our work openly.

Tax-deductibility and receipts

Kindred Pathways is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR), so eligible gifts are tax-deductible. We email a receipt for each donation. Please keep it for your records.

Recurring donations

If you set up a regular gift, it will continue on the schedule you chose until you change or cancel it. You can change or cancel a recurring gift at any time by contacting us at support@kindredpathways.org.au, and we will action it before your next scheduled payment.

Refunds

Donations are gifts, so they are generally final. We understand mistakes happen. If you donated in error, for example a wrong amount, a duplicate payment, or a payment you did not authorise, contact us within a reasonable time and we will review it. Where we are satisfied the donation was a genuine error or was not authorised, we will refund it to the original payment method. This policy does not affect any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

GST

Donations to Kindred Pathways are gifts and are not subject to GST.

Privacy

Information you give when donating is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
